World Asthma Day 2010: May 4

World Asthma Day is an annual event organized by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) to improve asthma awareness and care around the world. World Asthma Day 2010 took place on Tuesday, May 4, 2010. The theme of World Asthma Day 2010 was "You Can Control Your Asthma." On WAD, GINA also launched a campaign to reduce asthma hospitalizations by 50% in 5 years.
